O/a Wendys BlackFalds Job details • Location: 4500 BlackFalds Crossing Way suite 505 Carseland, Alberta T0J 0M0, AB • Workplace information: On site • Salary17.75 hourly / 30 to 35 hours per week • Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time • Day, Evening, Weekend • Starts as soon as possible • Vacancies: 2 vacancies Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 1 year to less than 2 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting • Relocation costs not covered by employer • Willing to relocate • Restaurant Responsibilities Tasks • Establish methods to meet work schedules • Requisition food and kitchen supplies • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation • Hire food service staff • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards • Prepare budget and cost estimates • Address customers' complaints or concerns • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage • Prepare and submit reports • Prepare food order summaries for chef • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres • Supervise and check assembly of trays • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys • Establish work schedules Supervision • Cook (general) • Food and beverage servers • Food service counter attendants and food preparers • Kitchen and food service helpers Additional information Security and safety • Bondable • Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities • Fast-paced environment • Work under pressure • Tight deadlines • Combination of sitting, standing, walking • Standing for extended periods • Attention to detail Personal suitability • Client focus • Efficient interpersonal skills • Excellent oral communication • Flexibility • Team player You can apply if you are: • a Canadian citizen • a permanent resident of Canada • a temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
