Experience 1 year to less than 2 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting • Willing to relocate • Relocation costs covered by employer Responsibilities Tasks • Diagnose psychiatric disorders • Prescribe medication and treatment • Treat psychiatric disorders • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulate diagnoses per current standards. • Provide consultation and/or ongoing care for a broad range of mental health conditions, including mood, anxiety, psychotic, trauma-related, and neurodevelopmental disorders. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing and managing psychotropic medications. • Deliver supportive therapy, psychoeducation, care coordination, and collaborate with primary care physicians, mental health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams as appropriate. • Ensure timely and accurate documentation and communication of clinical decision-making and management plans. • At their discretion, the psychiatrist may choose to provide consultation or care for patients receiving Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and/or ketamine treatments, subject to appropriate training and competency.
