2 VACANCIES Highschool or Secondary School minimum education requirement. • Read and interpret construction blueprints. • Measure, cut and install blocking, bracing, and framing elements. • Perform back framing to correct structural deficiencies or prepare for inspections. • Reinforce around mechanical, electrical, and plumbing penetrations. • Align and level walls, ceilings, and openings. • Coordinate with site supervisors. • Prepare structures for finishing stages (e.g. drywall). • Handling of carpentry power tools. • Knowledge of the BC Building Code. • Attention to detail and precise structural work.
