There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Drive lighter, special purpose trucks Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses AZ class license Commercial Vehicle Operator's registration (CVOR) Certificate Experience and specialization Type of trucking and equipment Flatbed Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles) Tractor-trailer Communication systems experience Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Transportation/travel experience Local Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Personal suitability Flexibility Organized Reliability Hardworking Employment groups This employer promotes equal employment opportunities for all job applicants, including those self-identifying as a member of these groups: Support for newcomers and refugees Support for youths Support for Indigenous people Supports for visible minorities Who can apply to this job?
