Key Responsibilities: • Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and other automated equipment, according to established schedules. • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance levels. • Assist with basic troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on CNC equipment. • Clean and maintain machine components to ensure proper functioning and longevity. • Collaborate with senior technicians to diagnose more complex issues and support repairs as needed. • Document maintenance activities, findings, and completed tasks accurately and in a timely manner. • Work alongside the production team to minimize downtime and address operational concerns promptly. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or certifications in a mechanical or technical field (e.g., Millwright, CNC Technology) preferred. • 2–5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing environment. • Basic knowledge of CNC machines and willingness to learn more about CNC systems and controls. • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. • Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices and safety protocols. • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and basic blueprints. • Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Preferred Skills: • Experience working with specific CNC systems (e.g., Haas, OKUMA, FANUC). • Familiarity with lubrication systems, alignment techniques, and basic calibration processes. • Previous exposure to industrial machinery or manufacturing equipment.
