Early childhood educator (ECE) assistant at Compass Childcare Location - 2570 Fifth St Victoria, BC V8T 4A7 Salary - 23.00 hourly / 40 hours per Week Vacancies- 1 Vacancy Terms of employment- Permanent employment, Full time Start date- As soon as possible. Job Requirements Languages- English Education- College/CEGEP Experience- Experience an asset Tasks • Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties • Maintain daycare equipment • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) Benefits Health benefits • Dental plan • Health care plan How to apply By email – jobsatcompasschildcare@gmail.com
