About this role
Set tables and bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas. Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs after customers have finished their meals. Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware. Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas. Keep records of the quantities of food used. Package take-out food for customers. Portion and wrap food items as needed. Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items. Serve customers at counters or buffet tables. Take customers' orders for food and beverages. Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs. Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
