About the Position Grillers Meats is looking for a dependable and hardworking Meat Grinder – Food & Beverage Processing to join our production team in Salmon Arm, BC. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position suited to someone who is comfortable working in a cold and noisy food-processing environment, performing physical and repetitive tasks, and maintaining a strong focus on product quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Operate grinding, processing, and packaging machinery. Set up and adjust processing and packaging equipment. Process and package food products by grinding, bagging, boxing, and other methods. Make necessary machine adjustments during production. Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet company quality standards. Record production information and maintain shift logs. Clean machinery and work areas regularly. Report mechanical problems or product irregularities to the supervisor. Follow company procedures for production, quality, cleanliness, and safety. Work efficiently to meet daily production requirements. Qualifications & Skills High school graduation or equivalent experience. Previous experience in food processing, meat processing, grinding, or packaging is an asset. Ability to operate and adjust production machinery. Strong attention to detail. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, flexible, resourceful, and willing to learn. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements & Work Environment The successful candidate should be comfortable with: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding work. Standing and working for extended periods. Bending, crouching, and kneeling. Working in cold/refrigerated areas. Working around machinery, noise, and food-related odours. Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail during busy production periods.
